Bruce Widbin Biography

Born in New Guinea to missionary parents, Bruce grew up with stone-age tribes. He appreciates the opportunity that travel and exposure to a variety of cultures and lifestyles has provided him.

Bruce attended high school in St. Louis and graduated with honors from Taylor University earning a B.S. and a B.A. degree in 4 1/2 years. He taught school for five years and then entered the business world as an executive with a grocery chain for 15 years. Responsible for 54 stores spread out over 4 states, Bruce set company records in a number of areas. He left the corporate rat race 12 years ago and built a successful financial advisory firm.

In October of 2008, he joined his business with Two Rivers Insurance Services. Finding a solid and progressive thinking organization that shares conservative values was a blend that Bruce anticipates will provide exciting synergy as they move ahead together. Being a part of a team like Two Rivers brings many economic solutions for the companies he works with.

Bruce finds it very rewarding to design, install, and service retirement plans that benefit both plan sponsors and participants. He has been able to:
